Release date : Nov 21, 2014
Starring : Siddique, Anjali Patil, Rathna Shekar Reddy
Rating : NA
Director : Rajesh Touchriver
Producer : Sunitha Krishnan
Music Director : Sharreth

Story:-
Durga(Anjali Patil) is a very bright student from Amalapuram. After completing her schooling, she opts to finish her higher education in Hyderabad. She reveals her decision to her father(Siddique) who strictly denies her the permission. Loosing no hope, Durga secretly gets admission into a college in Hyderabad.
This is also the time when her father goes to the city for some personal work. An anxious Durga takes her admission letter and reaches Hyderabad. As soon as she lands there, she is kidnapped and brought to a brothel house. During her stay, Durga finds out a shocking truth about her dad. What truth does she find out ? What problems does she face in the brothel house ? and how does she escape from there forms the rest of the story.
Plus Points:-
Anjali Patil is the heart and soul of the film. Her performance is only a proof of her much deserved National Award. She showcases superb emotions during her struggle in the brothel house. The way she has brought out the pain and agony in the film is outstanding.
Siddique, who played the role of Anjali’s father has also performed to the best of his abilities. The small twist which comes during the interval point is also interesting. The way harsh realities of city life have been showcased are also good. Some thrilling moments during the second half have been designed well.
Minus Points:-
Pace of the film is a bit slow. As most of the actors are unfamiliar, it takes a while for us to get connected to the film. Some of the emotions and hardships that are showcased in the film do not have much depth. First half of the film is quite normal as the actual story kicks off only during the interval.
Technical Aspects:-
Music of this film is decent and the background score only elevates the film to another level. The film’s run time could have been shortened by a few minutes to make it crisp. Rajesh Touchriver, who handled the story, screenplay and direction has written a good script which is inspired from a real incident. He has completely succeeded in extracting superb performances from his cast especially Anjali Patil.
Verdict:-
On the whole, Na Bangaru Talli is a film straight from the heart. It opens your eyes and shows the harsh realities of life quite convincingly. Anjali Patil’s performance and some thrilling moments stand out. All those who want to see films with a message and sensibility need to definitely give this film a shot.
Note:- Since this is a serious issue based film, we do not rate in a commercial format.
